The Mortimer Trail.
Note the start time shown on the top photo, the start at Ludlow
of the Mortimer Trail. Our distance that day including
the two diversions to the Iron Age Hill Forts and coming down
by the wrong path from Whapley, was 31 miles. The lower picture
shows the team at the finish, our trusty support car drivers
hid from the camera. In the evening we all repaired
to the 'Wheatsheaf' in Ludlow for a well deserved drink and
meal .
