You couldn't wish for a finer day for this' faster pace ' walk ; starting at  the village duck pond at Upham ( on 14/04/07) we cover the gorgeous rolling downland South-East of Winchester . Steep descents through pine forests and steady hill side climbs with stunning views put us on target for the welcoming Brushmakers Arms and a refreshing soda!
