Past Walks Page

The Isle Of Man is a beautiful area in which to walk. There is a great variety of walking available, from tough coastal walking, to tough hill walking, to easier rambles along disused railway lines, to flat coastal walking. There is something for everyone.

We spent a week on the island, most of us walking every day. Luck was with us as the weather was perfect and the hospitality very good.

Starting the coastal walk from Port Erin towards the Calf of Man, I look back to see the tower on Bradda head. It's tough going up the hill, but the views are worth it.

The leader paused for a rest at the top of Cronk ny Arrey Laa on the tough day walking from Peel to Port Erin along the Coastal Path.
